VisionPro™ is an emergency call system as well as a man down monitoring system that is designed to protect the lives of officers serving in correctional facilities as well as ensure workplace safety for hospitals and mental health. The system is also capable of monitoring existing facility systems such as fire alarms for the purpose of auxiliary annunciation.
EMERGENCY CALL SYSTEMS
MAN DOWN ALARM SYSTEM
Small personal transmitters are worn by corrections officers. These transmitters will automatically alarm with a "man down" announcement to radios and cell phones if an officer falls down. The emergency information can also display on computers, cell phones and other staff notification devices if desired.
PERSONAL DURESS PENDANTS
The same personal transmitter also has an emergency activation button that flashes red when the button is pressed for help. The officer's name and location is immediately sent to staff. The alarm flashes green when canceled and can only be canceled at the transmitter that placed the call for help to ensure fast response.
Wireless locators provide the location of the officer in distress.
Wireless repeaters allow operation of duress pendants throughout the facility. When a duress pendant transmission is activated, the nearest repeater will relay it to the next repeater and so on ensuring that the signal reaches the central computer, wireless readerboard or wireless desktop display. Repeaters and locators do not require any connecting wiring making installation inexpensive and simple.
Using computer generated voice messages, alarm events can be automatically broadcast over the existing facility radio network. This allows a faster reaction time than waiting for a dispatcher to respond. In a duress emergency, seconds can spell the difference between life and death. VisionPro™ can also broadcast scheduled events to any combination of radios, cell phones, pagers and more.
